• Mr. Miller

    Background: My name is Cory Miller and I teach Middle School Social Studies at the Okabena Junior High.  I was raised in Wells, MN and graduated from United South Central High School in 2006.  I decided to go to college at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN.  After graduating I began my teaching career by subbing in the Marshall area.  My first full time job was in 2014 in Heron Lake.  I have also taught at St. Mary's Catholic School in Worthington.  I aslo teach my second half of the day in Brewster for the Round Lake-Brewster School District.  I have been living in Lakefield, MN for the past 5 years. I am also an assisstant coach of the Coyote Football team. 
     
    Hobbies: My family and my girlfriend, Olivia,  are very important to me and love being with them.  I like being outside especially playing sports.  I am a all around Minnesota sports fan.  Watching sports on TV or in person fills a lot of my free time.  I also enjoy traveling, and I have a goal of visiting all 50 states before age 50.  30 down, 20 to go.  I have a cat named Linda who welcomes me home from school each day.
