I attended Jackson County Central High School, and went to Mankato State University where I graduated in 2010 with a degree in art education (K-12) with an emphasis on drawing and printmaking. I try to offer my students a variety of courses including, Drawing, Printmaking, Ceramics, Sculpture, Art History, Art Introduction, and Painting. I enjoy sharing my love for art with my students and try to teach responsibility, confidence, and problem solving skills while also teaching artistic skills. In my own artwork I am currently spending a lot of my time with graphite drawing but am working on setting up my own printmaking studio and website where I can print and sell my own artwork. I enjoy incorporating elements of nature and geometry while incorporating inspiration from my surroundings.
