Hello! I am a 2020 college graduate from the University of South Dakota where I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. Following graduation in December 2020, I returned home to Heron Lake and began working at the HL-O Elementary as a SPED teacher for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. In September 2021, I switched to 3rd grade and have loved it. This will be my third year teaching 3rd grade. I am a HLO-F assistant volleyball coach as well. This past January (2023), I became a mom to a beautiful little girl, Shae, and have enjoyed every second of it! In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, going golfing, and being with my friends.
